These Terms of Service govern your use of GamePal, a gaming-based dating service. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Service Overview

GamePal is a gaming-based dating service that connects users based on their gaming preferences and interests. Additional features may include community functions, content viewing, and profile recommendations.

GamePal is an adults-only service. All users must be at least 18 years old, and users who reside in the Republic of Korea must be at least 19 years old. This age requirement is determined by the user's country of residence, not by the language the user has selected.

2. Eligibility and Registration

• GamePal is an adults-only service. All users must be at least 18 years old. Users who reside in the Republic of Korea must be at least 19 years old, in line with the age of majority under Korean youth protection law. This requirement is determined by your country of residence, not by the language you have selected
• We verify age using the date of birth you enter at sign-up. If you circumvent the age requirement by entering a false date of birth or by any other improper means, we may suspend or delete your account without prior notice
• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
• One account per person is allowed
• Account sharing is prohibited

3. Profile and Matching

• Users must provide accurate profile information
• At least 2 clear photos of yourself are required
• Inappropriate photos will be removed; however, pet card images created through the Service's AI generation feature are not considered inappropriate photos
• Matching is based on algorithmic recommendations and user preferences

4. Premium Services and Payment

• Basic services are free, premium features require payment
• Payments are processed through app stores (iOS/Google Play)
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled 24 hours before renewal
• Refunds are subject to app store policies

5. Content and Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of content you upload
• We have the right to use your content for service provision
• Do not upload content that infringes on others' rights
• Our service, logos, and trademarks are our property

6. AI-Generated Content

• We provide features that generate images, such as avatars and concept cards, by processing photos you upload with artificial intelligence (AI) technology, including Google's Gemini API
• AI-generated results may vary with each generation; mere dissatisfaction with the appearance or quality of a generated result does not constitute grounds for a refund of the in-service currency used
• You may only use photos of yourself (or of a pet that lives with you) in AI generation features; using photos of other people or celebrities, or images of third-party works or characters, is prohibited and may result in removal of the generated content, restriction of use, or other measures
• You are granted the right to use the AI-generated content you create within the Service, and we may use such content to the extent necessary to provide and operate the Service
• If our safety systems block a generation because inappropriate content is detected, the in-service currency used for that generation will be fully restored; however, repeatedly attempting to generate inappropriate images constitutes a prohibited activity
• We may inform users that content is AI-generated through in-service notices, markings on images intended for external sharing, and other means

7. Prohibited Activities

• Providing false information or impersonating others
• Posting inappropriate content (sexual, violent, hateful)
• Using photos of other people or celebrities in AI generation features, or attempting to generate inappropriate images
• Spamming or commercial solicitation
• Harassment, stalking, or threatening behavior
• Disrupting normal service operations
• Using automated programs or bots
• Grooming or soliciting minors, and any activity involving child sexual abuse material

Zero-tolerance policy: We enforce a zero-tolerance policy toward objectionable content and abusive behavior, including harassment, stalking, threats, sexual exploitation, and hate speech. Every user can report or block content and other users at any time using the in-app report and block features. We review each report within 24 hours, remove the offending content, and immediately suspend the responsible user's access to the service. Severe or repeated violations result in permanent account termination without prior notice, and suspected violations of law may be referred to law enforcement.

8. Account Suspension and Termination

• We may suspend or terminate accounts for terms violations
• Suspension periods range from 1 day to permanent
• Users may delete their accounts at any time
• Deleted accounts cannot be recovered

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Limitation of Liability

• We are not responsible for interactions between users
• Users are responsible for their own safety when meeting others
• We are not liable for service interruptions due to technical issues

11. Dispute Resolution

• These terms are governed by the laws of South Korea
• Disputes will be resolved in courts of Seoul, South Korea

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes at least 7 days in advance.
